Money decisions matter, so we hold ourselves to clear standards. This page explains how StocksInfo.AI content is researched, written, reviewed and kept up to date.
1. Education, not advice
We explain concepts, rules and trade-offs. We do not issue buy, sell or hold calls on individual securities, price targets or “tips”. Where an article discusses specific companies or funds, it’s to illustrate how to analyse them, using publicly available data. Nobody on our team is registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser or Research Analyst, and we follow SEBI’s guidance that unregistered persons must not give investment advice.
2. Sources we rely on
- Regulators and government: SEBI circulars, RBI, the Income Tax Department, and the Finance Act and Union Budget documents.
- Market infrastructure: NSE, BSE, NSDL/CDSL and AMFI (NAVs, fund categories, AUM).
- Primary company and fund documents: annual reports, exchange filings, Scheme Information Documents and factsheets.
We link to sources inside articles so you can check them yourself. Fund returns, AUM, valuations and tax rates are labelled with the date they were checked.
3. How an article is made
- Topic selection: we cover questions Indian investors actually ask, and skip hype topics.
- Research and drafting: the writer gathers data from the sources above. We may use AI tools to help with research, outlines or drafting. AI output is never published without human review.
- Fact-check and review: before publishing, the editor checks every number, tax rule and claim against its source. Calculations and examples are re-worked by hand.
- Risk disclosure: articles involving investment products explain the downside as well as the upside.
4. Updates and corrections
We review key articles when rules change (for example, after a Union Budget changes capital gains tax) and at least once a year otherwise. Articles that can no longer be kept accurate are removed. If you spot an error, email hello@stocksinfo.ai. We aim to review corrections within 3 working days. Material corrections are noted in the article.
5. Independence, advertising and affiliates
StocksInfo.AI may show advertising, for example Google AdSense, to cover running costs. Advertisers have no influence over what we write. If we ever include an affiliate link or sponsored content, it will be clearly disclosed on that page. Sponsored placements never change our editorial conclusions.
6. Who is responsible
Editorial responsibility lies with Ramesh Iyer, the pen name of the site’s founder and editor. Learn more on our About page.
